While reading the "voter pamphlet" I run across "nutters". These are people that are so far out there they believe what they say to be true. One individual believes that if you abolish the minimum wage it will some build wealth for the worker. At least they might have a job and then they too can become a member of he working poor. Another believes the woes of the US are to be blamed on people enlarging their penis and buying bigger boobs; he must read the spam he gets. While yet another thinks God is "trying to get our attention". Wow, he might want to think that one through to its inevitable conclusion; a religious controlled state.
I guess people will believe anything if you say it often enough; the US was a Christian based country or the US was founded on good ole Christian values. This is not the case, the US motto "In God we Trust" was adopted in 1956 and before that the US motto was "E pluribus unum" which means "Out of many, one". The meaning of the statement is quite clear and leaves no doubt the founding fathers, drunkards and slave owners that they were, did not want religious controlled state. They just fought a revolution to get away from one. Even so, some of these statements pail when compared to some of the claims made by others about their knowledge and level of skill they bring to the table.
Dino Rossi has learned the value of articulation without committing any meaning to the words he dispenses. Dino says "political leaderships that seems...."; what came before and what came after have no meaning either. Dino also believes he can fix the problems with statements like "Cut the massive growth in federal spending, yadda, yadda, yadda....". How do you cut massive growth and complain about our government owning big businesses with a straight face?
Sure Dino, the thought of owning a bank or a car company might be appealing under different circumstance but it was your party that created the problem under your pal, Bush Jr.
Claiming President Obama created the mess or somehow exacerbated the problems is dishonest, disingenuous and is self-serving and I suspect if elected you would behave in much the same way.
This is the common mantra for the Republican party yet the facts over the last three decades do not substantiate the Republican party's claims and in fact prove them to be running a confidence game. [see The Republican 202 scam ]
